Meet Guest Teacher Nikki (she/her) will offer a Reiki and Radical Rest workshop during the retreat, inviting us into a deeply nourishing practice of restoration. Through community discussion, restorative and yin yoga, Reiki, and sound, we will be supported in slowing down, softening, and reconnecting with ourselves.

Additionally, throughout the retreat, Nikki will offer private, partner, and small group Reiki sessions on a pay what you can basis, creating additional opportunities for individualized rest, healing, connection, and care.

Nikki McMaster-Martorano (she/her) is the founder of and heart behind Terra Flow. She is a Trauma Informed E-RYT, Reiki Master and educator. When she is not teaching yoga in the city, she is a Yoga and Social Emotional Learning Specialist in an elementary school in Boston, who strives to make whole body wellness accessible to all. Nikki became curious about yoga when her career in education began and was amazed by the impact the practice had on her and her elementary school students. Inspired by the kids to learn more about the practice, Nikki enrolled in YTT in the summer of 2018. Since then, she has been teaching yoga with an authentic, inclusive and anti-racist lens in and around Boston, always teaching what she’s practicing- with an emphasis on being a lifelong learner and practitioner on and off the yoga mat. Nikki was trained in Ashtanga-based Vinyasa with Renee LeBlanc, Trauma-Informed Yoga with Sophie Lyons, and Embodied Yoga for Social Justice and Leadership with Susanna Barkataki. She received training in decolonized sacred energy and Usui Reiki from Zel Amanzi, and completed her Advanced and Master Reiki training with Danielle of Reiki Boston. Her goal as a yoga teacher is to cultivate and offer an environment where students feel safe to develop a sense of agency over their practice, while honoring the roots and deep, ancient wisdom that this practice has to offer. Expect to move mindfully, explore yoga beyond asana (yoga poses) and develop a deeper connection between your mind, body and breath.
