Monthly LGBTQIA2S+ AFFINITY Yoga - Starting Back up in NOVEMBER
Join Sophie Lyons (she/they) for an all-levels Yoga Flow designed for the Queer community. This class is open to anyone who identifies as part of the LGBTQIA2S+ community and will offer an open-level movement practice with a focus on choice, accessibility, and finding what feels right in your body. We’ll close with time for community to recentre, reflect, and share around the many dynamics and intersections of Queerness. My hope is that everyone feels truly welcome and at home in this space. Queering Yoga, to me, means practicing in community while challenging both the Western norms of fitness culture and the gendered expectations embedded in traditional yoga spaces. Yoga is for all bodies and it’s vital that we have spaces that are safe, affirming, and supportive for all of us.
